Lieke Koster

Lieke (1997) is a Dutch painter whose work balances intuition with craft. With impressionist lightness and classical depth, she seeks out beauty in its rawest form: unpolished, intentional, and full of wonder. Her practice is guided by a deep commitment to sustainability, representation, and social justice, always aiming for honest, heart-to-heart connection.

Painting has been at the core of her life since the age of fourteen, when she first taught herself through books and the internet. At nineteen, she chose to dedicate herself entirely to art, quickly building a professional career. To deepen her foundation, she later studied at the Classical Academy in Groningen, where she refined the techniques that continue to nourish her expressive practice today.
