This original piece of artwork was painted with acrylics, on handmade, 100% cotton paper. The colors and paints are protected for years to come, with a layer of glossy varnish. 8,5x8,5 cm golden frames double glass frames with, hand-dyed cotton ribbon in the shade 'dark teal' (but if you'd prefer another color ribbon you can always contact me after purchasing!) The ribbon is 20cm in total, folded 10cm, and with the knot, it hangs at approx. 7-8cm.

this year's ornaments combine my love for loosely painted landscapes with a tradition to choose 'a word for the year'. A word that reminds me of something I want to focus on, something like a very short mantra.
A word to keep close at heartThis particular painting was inspired by our long way back from the very north of Norway, back to The Netherlands. With the landscapes, also memories flashed by and I soaked up all the beauty into the deepest of my heart
